SMART Acquisitions
- Starter Grants (All Booked for 2010!) – Starter grants are offered by Advanced-Education in partnership with SMART technologies. Available to first time Educational Districts & Educational Institutions who pre-qualify. Our starter grant program gives special access and support to help those institutions get started with SMART technology.
- Product Loan Program – A program featuring such products as SMART boards, Response Systems, Document Cameras and Data projectors was originally designed to allow for IT Managers and Support staff to bring equipment in-house for technical testing and evaluation. The program is now also available for educational leaders to draw upon for internal meetings or special events
"Our Smart Table 1 week trial program was booked solid for 2 years within 3 hours of announcement. We ordered in more tables to meet the demand!"
When the SMART Table was released to the market, Advanced Education launched a trial program, where schools could apply to receive the SMART Table trial for 1 week. The communication started with an e-mail to our education customers, linking to a website form for trial request submission. Within 3 hours of this initial communication, the SMART Table was already booked for 2 years. Advanced had to request additional SMART Table demos just to attend this initial demand!
- Pilot Programs – This program is uniquely structured to allow for longer evaluation periods of equipment utilized full time in a classroom environment. With specific parameters involved and careful evaluation of the learning outcomes after use of the technology, administrators are able to make the best possible decisions once they can physically see the tangible benefits achieved directly from one of their own schools.
"Once you're using SMART board in your classroom, you won't want to give it back..."
- Large Scale Implementation Program - For larger district wide implementations, we have developed a program to help districts map out a multi stage technology plan that leverages not only the professional development experience of our Education Consultants but more importantly existing manufacturer grants and volume pricing programs to their fullest extent. For example, in 2007 alone, Advanced Education negotiated more than 10 master grants for the acquisition of over 2,000 SMART Boards.
- Reserved Inventory - Once a decision is made, whether it is a simple product acquisition or a more complicated installation rollout, things need to happen quickly and on schedule or any momentum you had can be lost. It always comes down to product availability. The reserved inventory program allows districts to reserve in-house stock so that it is allocated to a specific project and ensures key deadlines will be met.
