SMART Board Setup

  • Assemble SMART board stand
  • Install and connect Pen Tray
  • Attach SMART board to the stand
  • Test wheel locks
  • Test height adjustment slides
  • Test connection from SMART board to computer
  • Remove all packing material

Wall Mounted SMART Board Installation and portable Data Projector

  • Install and connect Pen Tray
  • Install SMART board on flat wall as indicated by your staff*
  • Test connection between the SMART board and computer
  • Unpack, setup and test data projector
  • Remove all packing material
  • Bonus: Advanced QUICKstart session**

Wall Mounted SMART Board with Ceiling Mounted Data Projector Installation

  • Install and connect Pen Tray
  • Install SMART board on flat wall as indicated by your staff*
  • Test connection between the SMART board and computer
  • Install ceiling mounted hanging software for the data projector
  • Install cables from data projector to computer
  • Adjust the projector’s keystone, throw distance, and focus
  • Unpack, install and test data projector
  • Remove all packing material
  • Bonus: Advanced QUICKstart session**

Integrated SMART Board Installation

  • Install and connect Pen Tray
  • Install SMART board on flat wall as indicated by your staff*
  • Install wall mounted data projector
  • Adjust the projector’s keystone, alignment and focus
  • Test connection between the SMART board and computer
  • Unpack, install and test data projector
  • Remove all packing material
  • Bonus: Advanced QUICKstart session**

  • Verify proper installation of the SMART board

    • Basic operation of the SMART board
    • How to use SMART Notebook software to promote learning
    • Trouble shooting tips
    • Basic strategies to maintain your data projector
