Our account managers are experienced audio visual system experts who are dedicated to working with school districts and individual schools. Each account manager is qualified as a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) and a SMART Certified Trainer. These certifications ensure that our clients receive the best advice and service available.

Our team of installation engineers are all experienced and CTS-I certified technicians who focus on installing all types of audio visual and interactive technology into schools, colleges and universities including SMART Boards, projectors, and classroom audio systems.

Our installers are proud to have received the SMART Factory Trained Installer Certification. This means they have successfully completed all the requirements and ensures that all installs will be conducted both safely and professionally. Safe installations are a top priority in any environment where children are involved and thus when dealing with an integrator of audiovisual equipment for the classroom, SMART always recommends looking for this certification.

Our service technicians have also completed and received the SMART Factory Trained Technical Certification. This means they have successfully completed the requirements for diagnosing and repairing all serviceable parts of the Smart board and it’s accessories. It enables Advanced Presentation Products to deliver prompt solutions when technical issues arise for our clients. SMART always recommends looking for this certification.
CTS Certifications - What They Mean

A Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) performs general technology solution tasks by creating, operating and servicing AV solutions, while conducting AV management activities which provide for the best audiovisual resolutions of the client's needs, both on time and within budget.

A Certified Technology Specialist - Installation (CTS-I) installs and maintains audiovisual systems by following specifications, schematics, codes and safety protocols; administering installation process logistics; troubleshooting and problem solving systems; maintaining tools and equipment; and communicating with clients, designers, other trades, other installers and staff to provide the best audiovisual solutions for clients' needs, on time and within budget.

A Certified Technology Specialist - Design (CTS-D) demonstrates detailed knowledge of how to analyze, select and plan seamless audiovisual communications equipment interoperation. The CTS-D demonstrates his or her experience in the form of complete specifications and drawings that deliver a desired outcome to meet a client's needs. A minimum of two years' industry experience accompanies the theoretical and practical competencies.
