SMART Board – Spec Ed Teachers

This course is designed for teachers who want to develop interactive hands-on resources for special education classes. The SMART Board - Spec ed course is intended for educators who are already familiar with the SMART board and have already taken our SMART board Fundamental course or another in-depth SMART course.

Please bring existing resources to create new interactive lessons and activities.

  • Literacy: shared reading, vocabulary development
  • Numeracy: through the use of virtual manipulatives
  • Classification strategies
  • Classroom routines: calendars, attendance, seating plans, schedules
  • Visually and hearing impaired students
  • Importing images from other programs
