SMART Boards for ESL Teachers is intended for educators who have already taken our SMART board Fundamental course or another in-depth SMART course.


Course Description

SMART Boards for ESL Teachers is designed for educators who are ready to develop interactive hands-on resources for their classroom. Our dynamic SMART Board session will help you to re-purpose existing lessons while sparking many new ideas for unique and creative hands-on classroom activities. This course focuses on creating activities that develop literacy skills. Participants should be ready to extend their SMART board and SMART Notebook use beyond the basic tools to develop original and engaging resources. Bring existing resources you want to enhance for use on the SMART Board.

By the end of this course participants will be able to:

  • Create dynamic lessons and activities the meet the needs of your students
  • Integrate exploration of the natural world with classroom technology
  • Use real-world examples to enhance literacy and numeracy skills
  • Effectively incorporate images and sound into SMART notebook lessons
  • Create hands-on SMART board activities to support different learning styles


Costs

$295 + gst per person + applicable taxes
