Satalight
Designed specifically for children with special needs, the satalight is accessible to people of all ages with significant physical and/or learning disabilities, including those in wheel chairs.
The satalight features the SMART Board 640 interactive whiteboard with a special projector. The SMART Board can be moved up or down, as well as tilted at multiple angles from any vertical or horizontal position making it infinitely more accessible to the physically challenged students, conforming to a student’s reach. The Hitachi projector is overhead, on an arm, out of the way, with virtually no shadow cast on the whiteboard surface.
This integrated learning station increases one-to-one student/teacher interaction by allowing educators to assist students with physical and developmental disabilities become more independent by engaging them in learning problem solving skills.
