SMART Response fully integrates with the SMART Notebook software used with the SMART Board making it easy to incorporate all the features found in notebook software.

SMART Response PE
Gain accurate and immediate insight into student learning with the SMART Response PE interactive response system, designed for K-12 classrooms. Using any of the six question types, educators can differentiate assessment by inserting pictures, sound, video, and flash files into any question. Results also can be imported or exported in multiple file formats for true flexibility. For example, teachers can import exiting tests that were previously prepared using Word, XML, and PDF format.

SMART Response LE
In addition, SMART Response LE is a simply designed and colorful interactive student response system for children in early education or special education who may or may not be reading.
Choosing from a range of easy-to-understand symbols on their handheld remote, students answer simple questions, receive instant feedback and become more engaged in a topic. Without leaving their SMART Notebook lesson, teachers quickly gage comprehension and adjust their teaching, assured that every student in their busy classroom has been heard.

SMART Response XE
Gain instant and ongoing insight into student understanding for middle and secondary education. The SMART Response XE interactive response system combines wireless, keyboard-style remotes (or clickers), a receiver and powerful assessment software. The SMART Response XE enables students to respond to questions using open-ended answers. The remotes allow students to input mathematical equations and scientific functions, such as quadratic equations, giving you the ability to cover more advanced content. With the intelligent grading feature, you can also choose the range of acceptable answers for a question, allowing for multiple representations of the correct answer.

SMART Response CE allows students in computer-enabled classrooms to respond to questions from their own computers, rather than from handheld remotes.
