Greenwood College

The Project

Advanced Presentation Solutions (APS) has been responsible for virtually all of the AV installation for Greenwood College School. 21 of their classrooms have been outfitted with SMART Board Interactive Whiteboards, ceiling mounted projectors, equipment racks for DVD / VCR and audio systems. In the school gymnasium, Advanced has installed a giant 200” diagonal electrical screen and a 15” SMART Interactive Podium for large assemblies or meetings. The ceiling projector required reinforced protection against any sports ball damage; therefore it was placed inside a security cage for the school’s peace of mind.

A NEC 61” plasma monitor was installed at the school’s reception and used as information display for students, parents and staff. The school also features a student lounge (The Lodge) with a high power ceiling mounted projector, a 240” diagonal motorized screen and an “array” speaker system used to provide the best quality audio system in the room. This same room is fully controlled by a Crestron touch panel control system, which gives students and staff the ability to control all the AV in the room (screen, projector, audio), including lighting.
