St. Clement's School
The Installation
Advanced Presentation Solutions (APS) was responsible for most of the AV systems in St. Clement’s School. Each one of their 34 standard classrooms has a SMART Board, a ceiling mounted projector, an amplified stereo audio system and an equipment rack for DVD and VCR.
The gymnasium is equipped with an impressive 300” diagonal motorized screen which is used for large assemblies. This is the largest motorized screen Advanced has ever installed!
Advanced was also responsible for part of the AV installation in their state-of-the-art theatre. The orchestra is located at a lower level, below the stage. For complete synchronization between actors and orchestra, a camera installed at the back of the stage was connected to a TV where the orchestra sits. At the same time, speakers were placed on the stage for the actors to hear the orchestra with absolute clarity and brightness.
The theatre also has a 240” motorized diagonal screen and a high power NEC projector with long throw lens for any multi-media video required on stage, both for plays and presentations. A patch bay has been installed in the theatre’s booth, allowing the set up of other video sources, such as video cameras, Blu-Ray, Satellite, VCR and more.
Finally, a staff meeting room was equipped with a 46” LCD flat panel monitor with interactive SMART overlay. This turns the TV into a giant interactive touch screen which is always ready for any presentation or lesson plan review amongst the teachers.
